Roy proudly served his country during the Vietnam War, Following his military service, he became an entrepreneur and never looked back, guided by a deep belief in going big is just as hard as staying small.
A defining chapter of Roy’s life was his unwavering dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan Chapman, and a deeply committed father. With extraordinary strength and compassion, Roy devoted himself to helping his quadriplegic son, Brent Chapman, live a full and meaningful life, demonstrating a quiet heroism that defined his character.
Roy was widely known for his generosity and willingness to help others whenever he was able. Those who knew him remember him as a man who gave freely of his time, resources, and support.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Chapman, and his son, Brent Chapman. He is survived by his son, Alexander Chapman.
