Rosina Anderson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Rosina Anderson, in her home in Arvada, CO on January 5, 2024. She was 83 years old.
Born in Bayreuth, Germany in 1940, she immigrated to the US and gained her citizenship in 1967. Her love of learning earned her several degrees, including a Ph.D. in Romance Languages from the University of Alabama. In the course of her career she taught languages in higher learning institutions and also conducted research for the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany.
Rosina will be remembered for her creative spirit, green thumb, and passion for language. She loved writing, painting, birds and folk stories. She is survived by her loving sons, Howard and Daniel (Liza), her daughter Jessica, and four grandchildren (Zoe, Zev, Ivan and Maya). She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard and daughter, Julie.
