Rosie has always been a leader in our family—the matriarch. Coming from a large family does not come without conflict, growing pains, and the loss of loved ones. But through it all, there has always been something stronger: the love that binds this beautiful Martinez family together.
Rosie has built a beautiful family of her own and, without a doubt, has led with strength, faith, love, and compassion. She has done a wonderful job raising and guiding her family with strong religious values, caring for one another, and keeping family close. The result is a beautiful, close-knit family.
Rosie has also carried the responsibility of helping lead our Martinez family, and that has not always been easy. We have strong-willed brothers and sisters, and over the years there have been disagreements, separations, and Loss of brothers and sisters . Yet, through it all, we are still the Martinez family.
And somehow, through all the challenges, Rosie has continued to be a source of strength and love. She has helped hold this family together through the years.
Today, as I pray for my sister, I am reminded of just how much she means to all of us. Rosie is not only my oldest sister; she is a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a leader, and a woman of faith who has given so much of herself to her family.
Lord Jesus, please surround Rosie with Your presence. Give her peace, strength, comfort, and healing. Let her feel the love of her immediate family Linda Montoya (Husband-Ryk) Art Recek (Wife Ali) and Tammie Lucero (Husband -Kenney) her grandkids, Gabriel Lucero (Wife -Whitney) Adrian Lucero (Wife-Jessica)Jennifer Casanova (Husband-Joey) Andrea Duran, Michelle Bahcekapili (Husband -Erman) Isaac Lucero (Wife-Marianna), Robert Lucero and Alika Recek . Great Grandchildren Jayla Lucero, Isaiah Duran Adrian (AJ) Lucero, Mila Lucero, Siena Casanova and Quetzalli Lucero. Sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones who is praying for her.
Thank You, Lord, for giving us Rosie. Thank You for the years of memories, the lessons ,the laughter, the challenges, and most of all, the love.
Please Lord continue to watch over our matriarch your daughter in Christ and let her know that she is deeply in our heart and prayers .Amen!
