Roseline Catherine Johnston

October 31, 1955 — July 7, 2025

Aurora

Roseline Cathrine Johnston passed away on Monday, July 7th, in her beloved home located in Aurora, Colorado. She was surrounded by her loving husband (of 51 years), James Patrick Johnston; Her daughter Angel Andrea Dallee; Son in law, Joseph John Dallee IV; her youngest sibling/sister Nadine Hobart and all her furry pup grandchildren/child. Roseline was born October 31st 1955, in Lebanon, France on a US military base, to her father Daniel W. Levings and mother Andrea M. Levings (Colier). She passed away at age 69 from aggressive multiple myeloma (cancer). Roseline also leaves behind her two sons, Joshua James Johnston and Mark Daniel Johnston, plus 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In life Roseline was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma, friend and neighbor. She spent her life taking care of others, listening, hearing, being by their side. No judgements. She cared so deeply for her friends, family and husband/partner (Jim). Roseline’s family was not bound by a blood, but rather a family of people by heart. Her family extended to those that needed it, needed her. She took in so many of her kid’s misfit friends, and opened her home and heart to them. She ensured no one’s belly was every empty and everyone had shoes on their feet. Most importantly, that there always had to be enough-no one did without.

Roseline was a creator, crafter, artist, and chef. Her quilts left behind, to always provide a warm hug for us still here. Her dolls designed with every little girl’s connection kept in mind and knowing how important that connection is to a little girl. Roseline’s art remains seen in portraits, dolls, blankets, vintage furniture restorations and personal creations. She inspired us to be more, do more, and create more. Her love for gardening, especially flowers, (roses) and all kinds of vegetables, for us to enjoy as a family, alongside her at her dinner table. There was a proudness in every meal she created and every jar of jam she crafted. All made in her “apple” kitchen with so much love, but nothing beat her cookies.

Roseline will always be missed by her community, her family, her partner Jim, but will continue to live in her art and craft creations and the peoples life’s she impacted by her kindness and love.
