Rose Lorraine Brooks

Rose Lorraine Brooks, 74, of Aurora, Colorado passed peacefully on October 28, 2014. She was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on May 23, 1940. She was the beloved wife of David for 55 years; loving mother of Barbara (Cliff) Coe, Deborah (Troy) Taylor, Tracy Brooks, and Stephanie (Frank) Mufic; treasured grandmother of Lindsey Taylor, Alexa Brooks, and Megan Coe-Zahn. She devoted her time, energy, and love to her family. She was also dedicated to her career as an accountant for her own firm: Rose Brooks EA. She worked hard to be able to vacation beachside with her family in Maui under the palm trees and spoil her family with lavish gifts. She cherished her favorite pink manicures with the girls and sweet-talking her slot machines into winning. From cooking her famous Thanksgiving turkey or melt-in-the-mouth Pot Roast to baking banana bread and making holiday crafts with her granddaughters, she always made family her first priority. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rose's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Denver Hospice.
