Ronald W. Servis, CAPT., Esq., 75, Granby, Colorado, passed away in one of his favorite places, in the mountains of Colorado.

Ron then attended College of Brockport, NY in 1970. Before his graduation, he entered the United States Navy OCS School and served during Vietnam. During his time in the US Navy, he was stationed all over the world, attended law school at Lewis University in Illinois, graduating in 1978. After passing the bar in Illinois and Colorado, he moved to Colorado to start his law practice and career. He found his love of law in Probate/Estate Law, taking great pride in being the 4th generation Attorney within the family. Ron while running his practice ended his US Military career being Honorably Discharged as a Captain with USNSGC in Great Lakes, Illinois, 2001.

Ron loved being busy! He was generous with his time but devoted himself most to family and friends. Was well respected by colleagues. He was a proud father, loving husband, teaching his kids to ski and enjoyed traveling the world. He would lend a helping hand to anyone in need, especially the US Military. Ron wore his enormous heart on his sleeve making strong connections to all of those around. Ron lit up a room wherever he went, he was larger than life. He will truly and greatly be missed.

Ron had three children from his first marriage to Eileen Matiash. His sons Embry (Alissa), and Colin. His daughter Krystyn “Kricket”, two grandsons Henry and Griffin. He is survived by his brother Terry (Eileen) and his sister Kim (Jeff) Powell. Ron remarried 5 years ago to Judy, and gained 5 children, 17 grandchildren plus one great-grandchild.
