Roger Lippert was a dedicated airman and family man who passed away at his home at 89.
Roger was an Air Traffic Controller with the FAA, and he proudly served in the Air Force and Montana Air National Guard, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to his country. In his military career, he received the distinct honor of being among the few airmen selected to fly at Mach 2.
His passion for aviation led him to a distinguished career as a commercial airline pilot for 32 years. As a Captain with Frontier Airlines in the 1970’s, he shared the cockpit with the first female airline pilot.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Maureen of 67 years. He is also survived by his brother Dennis, his daughters Cristi, Karen, Kathy, and Lisa, his sons-in-law; Bob and Eric. He is also survived by his grandson Cort and his wife Nicole, and his 2 great-grandsons. Roger will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace and soar among the clouds.
Services for Roger will be held on July 23rd beginning at 9 AM, Funeral Service at 10 AM, and a Reception to follow at 11 AM.
