**In Loving Memory of Robinio McGraw**

*July 4, 2003 – April 15, 2026*

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Robinio McGraw, a deeply loved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, who left us far too soon on April 15, 2026. Robinio was born on July 4, 2003, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. From the very beginning, he brought light, energy, and love into the lives of everyone around him.

Robinio was the beloved son of Sean McGraw, Beth McGraw, Dana McGraw, and Micheline Espera. Not many young men are blessed with three mothers, but Robinio was surrounded by that kind of love throughout his life. He was born to Micheline in Haiti, where he also leaves behind four brothers. At five years old, he was adopted by Sean and Beth, beginning a new chapter filled with opportunity and care. Later, he was further blessed with a bonus mother in Dana McGraw.

Robinio grew up surrounded by a strong and loving family. He is survived by his grandparents, Dr. Glenn and Erin Cosh; his siblings, Sara Jo, Madelynn, Lily, Colin, and Taylor; and his niece, Zaelynn, who adored him. He is now reunited with his grandparents, James and Mary Jo McGraw.

Robinio spent nearly every birthday of his youth in Steamboat Springs with his family, a place that held a special magic for him. He cherished the hot air balloon festivals, the festive parades down Lincoln Avenue, and the vibrant firework displays. Each year, his sisters would surprise him with a special themed birthday cake, a tradition he loved almost as much as the horses that roamed the valley. He also held fond memories of holiday trips to California and Las Vegas, where he enjoyed celebrating with his extended family and creating lasting traditions together.

He graduated from Chatfield Senior High School in 2022, where he built lasting friendships and deepened his passion for football. That passion led him to Graceland University and later to Greenville University, where he continued playing at the collegiate level. Robinio was set to graduate this spring with a degree in Criminology and was excited to begin a career as a police officer in Chicago, driven by his desire to help others and make a difference.

Faith was an important part of Robinio’s life. He grew up attending Abiding Hope Church, where he found community and strength. In his college years, his love for Jesus strengthened through the influence of his girlfriend Abby.

Outside of participating in athletics, Robinio loved live sporting events and enjoyed going to games whenever he could. One of his favorite recent memories was a trip to the Kentucky horse races. He was also a dedicated Colorado sports fan and loved spending time at Coors Field. More than anything, Robinio loved being around people.

After Chatfield Senior High School’s 4A football championship victory, Robinio chose to spend his moment of celebration consoling the losing team—an act that reflected the kind of person he was. Robinio will be remembered for his kindness, his big smile, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about. He made a lasting impact on so many lives, and that will never be forgotten. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, like they belonged, and his energy could light up any room.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Robinio’s memory to Beans5258, a nonprofit he planned to launch upon his college graduation in May. This organization was created to support children in Haiti through orphanages, as well as initiatives like the Chemen Lavi Miyò program through the Haitian Timoun Foundation, which empowers women to rise from extreme poverty by providing stable housing and income opportunities for their families.
