Robert Zavaglia

Robert James “Bob” Zavaglia of Lone Tree, Colorado, passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 74.  Bob served his country dutifully for 27 years, starting with the Army and ending as the Special Agent in Charge for the IRS’s Criminal Investigation Division, Rocky Mountain Region.  He then served his church family as its Business Administrator from 1998 until his death.  He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo, and mother, Theresa (Zampogna); brothers Jack and Angelo; and sister Vincenza (Erutti).  Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Cecelia (Waldron); his son Rob; brother Greg, sisters Marie (Walling) and Shirley (Bostian), and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.  The only thing Bob would ever want to be remembered for is the life transformation in Christ that led to his faithful, unselfish service to the Lord for 50 years.

Following private interment at Ft. Logan Cemetery, a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on January 10, 2022, at Summit Church, 7200 S.
