Robert Robles, “Bob”, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023 at the age of 95. He was born June 22, 1928 to Jose and Soledad Robles in Pueblo, CO. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter Mary Stellish; son David Robles; sister Nita Barrios; and great granddaughter Lauren Vigil. Survivors include brother Eddie Robles; children Debra (David) Cuneo, Stephen (Lisa) Robles, Margaret (Tom) Carmichael, Stephanie (Danny) Dreiling, son-in-law Tom McDowell and daughter-in-law Marcy Robles; grandchildren Jeremiah (Andrea) Stellish, Anna (Ranee) Sharshel, Nicole (Mike) Vigil, Sean (Jessica) Stellish, Tom (Liz) Carmichael, Kevin (Erica) Stellish, Matthew (Amanda) Cuneo, Erin (Ang) Stellish, Breanne (Mike) Bulawka, Brian Robles, Christine (Ian) Augustin, Courtney Robles, Ashley (Jacob) Turner, Robbie Robles; and 27 great grandchildren.
Bob grew up in Pueblo, CO with his sister, Nita and brother, Eddie. After graduating from Central High School, he joined the Navy and served from 1946 through 1948. After the service he pursued a pharmaceutical degree through the University of Colorado.
Bob met the love of his life, Betty during his college years, and married in June, 1952 in Denver, CO. They settled in Northglenn/Thornton area and raised six children. They were able to celebrate 62 years together before her death.
Bob owned four pharmacies in the Northglenn/Thornton area and retired after 45 years. After retirement, he continued working as a pharmacist part time. Pharmacy was his passion and he enjoyed his interactions with the customers.
During Bob’s free time, he enjoyed golf, traveling, and sports. He especially loved the Colorado Buffalos and the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed working in his yard, and had an artistic ability which reflected in his paintings and drawings. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is known for his gentle spirit, his caring for others, and his great sense of humor. He will be forever loved and forever missed.
To honor Bob’s life, funeral services will be held August 21, 2023, starting at 11:00am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11385 Grant Dr., Northglenn, CO 80233.
