Robert Ring

Robert ""Bob"" Ring, 81, was born in Denver, CO on March 27, 1928 to Stephen J. and Mary Krupa Ring. He passed away at home on Sunday, October 18, 2009, surrounded by family and close friends, following a brief illness. Bob was educated in the Denver Public Schools, graduating from North High School in 1945. He briefly attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, then transferred to the University of Denver, obtaining his BS degree in 1950. He completed his LLB and JD degrees from the University of Denver Law School. He maintained his private law practice for more than 55 years, retiring in 2006. He married his childhood sweetheart, Winifred ""Winnie"" R. Hackney, in 1948, who survives him. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 22, Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an animal charity of your choice.
