Robert “Bob” Lee Richardson, 80, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Centennial, Colorado.
Born September 28, 1945, in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Frank Richardson and the late Melba Lee Marling (formerly Richardson).
A steady, knowledgeable parts manager at TM Service Co. for more than 40 years, Bob’s true calling was the pool table. In his younger days he earned his living at billiards, ran a pool hall, and could often be found working the bingo machines with a grin. An avid boater on Colorado and Wyoming lakes in his early adulthood, he later channeled his mechanical talent into restoring cars—Cadillacs held a special place in his heart. The garage was never quiet; the soundtrack was always pure 1950s rock ’n’ roll and Doo-wop.
Bob was a master of card tricks and bar bets, always ready with an impossible feat that left everyone laughing and scratching their heads. His favorite book was Joseph Heller’s Catch-22, and he spent his life proving that “insanity is the only sane response to an insane world.”
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Vicki Ann (née Lambert) Richardson; his son, Robert Shane Richardson, and daughter-in-law Sanya (née Cook) Richardson; his adored grandchildren, Kylie Ann Richardson and Zachary Hannon Richardson; his brother Michael (Lorraine) and their sons Christopher Michael Richardson and Scott Michael Richardson; his brother Gary Duane Richardson; and a host of friends who never quite figured out how the card always ended up in their pocket.
In lieu of flowers, please raise a glass, cue up a favorite ’50s tune, and smile—because, as Bob might say, “Well, he died. You don’t get any older than that.”
