Robert Pitiak

Robert Stephen Vincent Pitiak, 76, of Commerce City, since 2005, passed away Tuesday February 7, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia to Steven Pitiak and Ruth Shupshinskas Pitiak Sneath. He was raised in South Amboy and was a 1964 graduate of Sayreville High School.

Robert served as an Army Aviation Officer from 1965 to 1977; Vietnam Veteran. Worked as a Construction Manager until 2006. Robert was a life member of the VFW, American Legion, NRA, DAV, Knights of Columbus, and other fraternal clubs. Robert also volunteered at other charitable organizations.

Beloved husband of Kathleen Ellen Pitiak. Loving father of Robert Frank Pitiak (late Cheryl), and Michael Charles Pitiak, and (late step grandson Mathew Sweat). Caring brother of Lynne Leonard, half brother Frank Sneath, (late half brother Steven Pitiak), and half sister Penelope Strait.
