Robert (Bob) Marion Hall, aged 98, passed away on March 9 th , 2025 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He was born on August 27, 1926 in Northport, Nebraska to Chester and Lillian (Jensen) Hall.
He graduated from North Platte High School mid-term to join the US Navy in 1943 and served in the Pacific Theater on USS LST 905 as a signalman. Upon returning, Robert used the GI Bill to attend Woodbury College and earned a degree in International Business. He returned to his hometown of North Platte, Nebraska and there he met his future wife, Violet Elaine Wescoat, on a blind date. They married on August 17, 1952 and were devoted to each other for over 71 years.
Bob and Violet had two daughters, Christy and Laurel. The young family moved from Nebraska to Montana, Nevada, California, and finally settled in Colorado in 1963 where Robert worked for Texaco as a geophysical draftsman until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Violet; his parents, Chester and Lillian Hall; brothers, Chester, Claude, George, and Stuart, and his sister, Barbara.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Christy Kennedy (Tom) of Sedalia, Colorado, and Laurel Golden (Peter) of Costa Mesa, California; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Robert will be deeply missed and remembered with love.
Memorial service will be at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, Colorado on Thursday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m.
Committal service will take place on Friday, April 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236. (Due to road construction and the temporary closure of the Funeral entrance on Sheridan Blvd., please use the Cemetery entrance on Kenyon Ave., and follow the signs for Staging are "B", where we are asked to gather by 9:15am.)
