Robert L. Hodge

Robert L Hodge Jr., 81, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away on July 27, 2026 at home under Hospice of Denver care. A memorial service will take place at Horan & McConaty funeral service and cremation in Centennial, on August 7, 2026 at 10AM.

Born in Springfield, MA on May 26, 1945. Bob graduated from U Mass with a degree in Radio, TV Communication. He joined ROTC and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. U.S. Airforce. After pilot training, he flew several aircraft, reached the rank of Capt. and served in Vietnam. He separated from the Air Force to join United Airlines and flew for over 24 years. Robert was preceded in death by his son Markhus A Hodge, his mother Rosetta Scott Hodge, his father Robert L Hodge Sr. and a brother, Richard P Hodge. He is survived by his devoted wife Barbara, his two sisters, Mary F Hodge of Springfield, MA, and Geraldine M Gladden (Caleb) of Springfield, MA, his four brothers, Frank Hodge of Lafayette, CO, Eugene Hodge of St. Petersburg, FL, Thomas H Hodge of Springfield, MA, and Douglas H Hodge (Sandra) of Chester, VA also a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends.

He enjoyed golfing, tennis, skiing and traveling. Robert will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, his smile and his love for family and people.

A social gathering will follow the service. Thank you for your condolences. He was dearly loved.
