Robert Lee Hoecker age 91 passed away December 19, 2025, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Robert was born in Aitchison, Kansas. He was the only child of Margaret and Robert Hoecker Sr. Robert spent most of his young life in Atchison. His family moved to Wichita when he was in middle school. Robert attended Wichita State University for one year then completed his college education at Kansas University. After college he worked as an accountant. 

In Wichita he met and married Sharon Kay Robertson in 1958. The newlyweds moved to Denver Colorado where Robert attended Law School at Denver University. After graduation Robert practiced family law in Denver. He and Sharon welcomed a daughter, Susan, in 1964. In 1973 Robert began a career with the US Federal Courts. He began as a deputy clerk at the US Court of Appeals and ended his career as the Circuit Executive of the Tenth Circuit in 2001. 

After retirement Robert took on the role of fulltime Bucky (grandpa) to his two grandsons John and Matthew. He and Sharon enjoyed traveling together, with friends and family until Sharon’s passing in 2021. Robert continued to enjoy time with his family. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing pool with his buddies.

Robert is survived by his daughter Susan Bellipanni, son-in-law Michael Bellipanni and grandsons John and Matthew Bellipanni. Robert will live on in the loving memories of his family. There will be no services per Robert’s wishes
