Robert E. Clayton, 94, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2015. He was born on April 11, 1921 in Ilion, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis & Florence Clayton, brother Richard Clayton and 2 sisters Nellie Clapsaddle & Nina French. Robert is survived by his daughter Cheryl (Tom)Thornton, 2 granddaughters Cara & Julia, 2 great granddaughters Madeline & Cassidy.A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 19 from 1-3PM at Horan & McConaty in Aurora with a rosary to begin at 7PM. Burial will be held Wednesday May 20 at 10AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
