Robert "Bob" David Bohan, age 87, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025. Born on March 22, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, Bob was the son of the late James C. Bohan and Virginia Egan Bohan.
Bob was a proud high school graduate of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio, and went on to attend Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, an experience he credited as foundational to his personal and professional life.
Over the course of a distinguished career, Bob served as the top executive leader of three industrial product companies: Paslode, Senco and Duo-Fast. He was a dynamic, respected figure in the business world, known for his vision, mentorship, and deep commitment to excellence.
Bob also served his country with honor in the United States Army. He carried the values of service, loyalty, and discipline with him throughout his life.
Outside of work, Bob loved sports and travel. He enjoyed golf and tennis and even learned to drive his beloved boat, “The Blind Fiddler.” Bob and his wife, Ann, shared a passion for travel and spent decades exploring the world together, a tradition that continues through their children and grandchildren. Bob proudly visited 63 countries over his lifetime. He also had and practiced a very strong faith, attending 13 churches in total from when he was a young boy until the end.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Ann Brown Bohan, and his daughters, Laura Bohan Fuller (Tony Fuller) and Christine Bohan Worrell (John Worrell). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Sarah and Grace Fuller and Reese and Gray Worrell. He is also remembered fondly by extended family and dear friends.
He was predeceased in death by his brother, James C. Bohan Jr., and sister, Jane Bohan Glazier.
Bob’s presence, warmth, and signature sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A private family funeral mass will be held to honor Bob’s life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcomed to two of Bob’s beloved institutions: National Jewish Health and/or The Denver Rescue Mission.
