Robbie Jacob Quintana, A wonderful son, father, brother, Cousin, and nephew passed away peacefully on Thursday December 16, 2021 at 4:53am at age 43. He was born on July 8th, 1978 to Nancy Berger Zapien and Eddie Quintana In Denver, Colorado. He graduated from North high school in 1998, and he also went on to accomplished trades in auto body mechanics. He was always a family man and enjoyed spending time with ones he loved, His roots and his heart always went back to his grandparent’s farm at Pea Green in Grand Junction, that is where he called home. He was a man of family and friends and the apple of his mother’s eye. She was a single parent and he was the light of her life, (her babes) as she called him, she gave him the tools and values to become the incredible smart man that he was. He met a wonderful woman at a young age who would become his wife, Paulette Vigil Quintana. Later their love created a beautiful daughter that they ultimately loved more than anything in this world, Emily Nevaeh Quintana. She was the center of their world. As a result of his mother’s raising, the great love for his daughter came naturally. After a heartbreaking loss of Emily’s mother in November of 2017, Robbie embraced and dedicated his life to nurturing and parenting his beautiful daughter. Emily was his biggest accomplishment in life, his true heart’s desire. Robbie was father of the year, making sure he never missed a chance to spend making his little girl smile. He showed her the beautiful side of life and often took her on trips all over. Living with her father, grandpa Jesus Zapien and Uncle Antonio Zapien their bond grew stronger than ever. Robbie’s and Antonio’s brotherly love was spectacular, they were best friends forever. He had a special relationship with all his siblings, Robbie made it a point to keep each relationship close by making frequent visits to each one's homes, he loved to just show up unannounced, make himself comfortable, eat if there was food made and visit and just talk about what was recent in our lives. He taught us all how to love each other, the true meaning of family. He played an important role as Eddie's youngest son, he was nicknamed the "big-little brother" because he stood the tallest despite being the second youngest. He was a protective brother especially over his sister's. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for them. Big bear hugs were his specialty, he loved to wrap you up in his arms and if you weren't careful sometimes he wouldn't let go. He was a gentle giant who loved to play around. He loved a good laugh and knew how to make you smile. Robbie was a hard working man who wanted to progressively obtain new knowledge in his career he was always striving for more. One of his greatest enjoyments was traveling back to the farm to be with family and friends on holidays, vacations, and annual birthday’s where he was celebrated with birthday parties, even at age 42. He truly enjoyed his family and they enjoyed him. He loved going on a blast from the past and rocked on with ninja turtles, but only 80’s and 90’s versions, they were his Favorite. He also loved to explore and ride his motorcycle to wherever adventures would lead him, He was still a big kid at heart. Let’s just say he also enjoyed his second amendment. You could say he loved his toy's. He knew how to enjoy life and he lived life freely, Nothing held him down. Robbie was a gift to us all who will forever be greatly missed. Life definitely won't be the same, and without him we are incomplete.
