Richard "Dick" Wahlgren

Richard “Dick” Wahlgren of Centennial Colorado passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on March 23, 2023, with his children by his side.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 7 at Horan & McConaty , 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122.

Dick was born in Brooklyn, New York to Helen and Harold Wahlgren on November 27, 1939.  He graduated from C.W. Post College while working full-time married with two children. He worked as a VP at General Electric Credit Corporation until he left at the age of 45 to pursue his first love, land development.

Dick enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida with his wife Eileen playing golf, fishing and riding his bike.

Dick Wahlgren is preceded in death by his wife of almost 55 years Eileen, brother Lenny Wahlgren.

Dick is survived by son Rich Wahlgren and daughter-in-law Kim, daughter Debbie Gleason and son-in-law Tim Gleason. Dick’s brother Robert Wahlgren.  Dick leaves behind four grandchildren, Hunter Wahlgren, Blake, Chase Gleason and Alysha Bogard.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to go to Alzheimer’s Association.
