Richard ""Dick"" James Sides

Richard ""Dick"" James Sides, age 69, passed away on August 17, 2015. Dick was born February 10, 1946 to parents Dick and Jimmie Lou Sides. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Aldis, his son Mark (Jennifer) Sides and his grandchildren: Emily, Madison, Andrew Richard and Jonathon. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Donnie Sides. Dick was his Family's Champion and loved his country and his community. Dick was a Son of the American Revolution, a descendant of William Ayres, who served under George Washington in the New Jersey Militia. Dick worked at Lockheed Martin, an industry leader in Space, Defense and Satellite Communication technology, for 25 years. Dick was active in the Highlands Ranch Community, loved to travel, and read extensively, and loved to fish. Dick loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed. A private family memorial service will be held. Internment will take place at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Dick's name, may be made to the St. Gabriel Episcopal Church 6190 E Quincy Ave, Englewood, CO 80111.
