Richard Safe, born January 21, 1954, passed, surrounded by his family on September 6, 2024.
Retiring as a captain, Rick spent 28 years helping his community through the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Department by heading up rescue efforts and working on wildland fires.
He is survived by his wife Arla, son Jeff (Rachel), daughter Janel, grandchildren Zach, Aislynn, Colton, Tucker and brother Ron (Denise).
He is preceded in death by his parents Don and Joann and his brother Larry.
