Richard V. “Dick†Reed, 84, of Denver, Colorado, passed on September 5, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 8, 1933 to his parents, the late Herschel Monroe Reed and Margaret Kathryn McCullough. Dick was a life long musician, serving in the United States Army’s 5th Army band at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, and more recently in various symphonies.
Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Reed; daughters, Tracy Ellen Reed and Toy Kathryn (Thomas) Herring; and grandsons, Dylan Herring and Austin Herring.
Services for Dick will be held in private at a later date.
