Dick, 93, died peacefully July 15, 2015. Born in Lebanon, MO; married Lelia Louise Cohn ""Connie"" in November, 1941; an Army veteran of WWII; earned his master's in fish biology at Colorado A&M in 1952. He began his career with Colorado Dept of Game & Fish before joining the US Forest Service in 1962 where he retired in 1982. Dick is survived by his three children Mikel Secore, Richard Jr. (Mary), and Fredrick (Cynthia); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sisters Virginia Thompson and Lillian Umphres, and brother Fred. He was preceded in death by his wife Connie; brother George; and sister Louise. Dick will be remembered for his love of his wife of 50 years, Connie, devotion to his family, his enjoyment of jazz and big band music, and enthusiasm for Denver sports teams.
