Richard Lamm, 64, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on June 6, 2025.
Born on May 24,1961 in Denver. Richard was a resident of Denver where he cultivated a fulfilling life. He had a passion for the outdoors, he enjoyed being surrounded by close family and friends and he was a loyal fan of all Denver sports teams.
Richard graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1980. He attended Fort Lewis College and Metropolitan State University. He went on to pursue a career in sales working for Rainbow Play Systems for the last 10 years.
Richard will be lovingly remembered as an honorable son, a caring brother, an awesome uncle, a trusted colleague, and a kind-hearted friend. His warmth, humor, and generosity touched all who knew him.
Richard LOVED sports, especially the Broncos! Richard was always the one to organize the football pools, he knew the stats, and loved to “talk sports”. Weekly golfing with his friends was a highlight on his days off from work. Richard (aka Uncle Richie) cherished his time with family and celebrated their significant milestones. Richard felt most at peace at his family’s cabin in Estes Park. He volunteered by leading the effort to take care of the water for all the cabins on the hill. Sitting on the deck looking at Longs Peak was truly his “happy place”. He also loved the beach, especially the family trips to Mexico. When thinking of Rich, have a margarita in his honor.
Richard is preceded in death by his father, William Lamm who passed in 2014. He is survived by his mother, Martha Lamm of Denver, Colorado; brother David (Lisa) Lamm of Walnut Creek, California; sister Amy (Thomas) Brownlee of Denver, Colorado and his niece and nephews, Kate Brownlee, Matt Brownlee, Lauren Lamm and John Lamm.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Richard’s life will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at The Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO with a reception to follow.
