Richard Joseph Ferrero

Richard Joseph Ferrero, 85, of Brighton, CO passed from this life on September 10^th, 2023.

He was born in Welby, CO to Joseph and Marjorie Ferrero on August 28^th, 1938. He worked on the Ferrero Brothers Farm until he graduated from Westminster High School in 1956. He loved working on the farm with his dad. Richard’s mom, Marjorie, was great, she was always there for Richard and his siblings, Yvonne, Donald and Francine.

He had many walks in life, some of which were North Washington Fire Department for 33 years, Owner of Colorado Rangers Security Guard Service, Tire Company, Subcontractor for City View, was a Deputy with Adams County Sheriff’s Department and a member of Brighton Elks #1586.

Richard and Harriet were married July 12^th, 1969. Richard had two children, Rick and Linda. Harriet had Rick, Chet and Cheryl.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marjorie Ferrero; son, Rick; stepsons Chet and Rick; brother Don Ferrero.

Richard is survived by his wife, Harriet; daughter, Linda Terry; stepdaughter Cheryl Guscott; sisters, Yvonne (David) Montano, Francine (Mark) Schuster and Jeanne Ferrero; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.

He will be missed by all of his family and friends. A special thank you to Danielle and Celeste.

Visiting Hours will be observed from 4:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday, September 20^th from the Chapel of Horan & McConaty, Thornton, CO.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Thursday, September 21^st at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Denver, CO.

Graveside Service will be at 1:00pm Thursday, September 21^st at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, CO.
