Richard "Dick" Lee Hoffman

Richard Lee Hoffman, best known to all as Dick Hoffman, aged 75, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of the Colorado mountains. Born on July 28, 1951, Dick lived a life defined by entrepreneurship and hard work. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Karen, just shy of what would have been their 57th wedding anniversary on August 15, 2026.

Throughout his lifetime, Dick owned and operated several businesses. However, his ultimate pride, passion, and professional legacy was All City Floor Company. He built the business from the ground up through sheer determination. The company will continue to run strong, honoring his memory andvision.

Beyond his professional life, Dick was an avid sports enthusiast. He cherished the time spent with family and friends watching seasonal NASCAR races and cheering on various professional sports teams during weekend telecasts. Dick also owned his own Race Team and won back to back local championships at Colorado National Speedway. His race car was #75, and he lived to be 75. Somehow, 75 was always his number.

Richard found great joy in the simple pleasures of life on his beautiful, large acreage property in Evergreen, Colorado. He spent countless hours meticulously maintaining the landscape and continually adding new projects to his beloved home.

His property was also home to Raider and Dingle, two stray cats he randomly acquired over the years. Richard deeply loved, enjoyed, and—in true Dick fashion—very often complained about his feline companions.

Dick’s unique sense of humor, dedication to his craft, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dick is survived by his beloved wife Karen Hoffman; his children Lenny Hoffman, Michelle Mauries (George); his cherished grandchildren Demetria Mauries (Hubert Rodriguez), Chloe Sweet (Taylor); his precious great-grandchildren Colton Sweet, Cecilia Rodriguez; siblings Hubert Thomas Hoffman Jr, (Tom), Gerald “Jerry” Montgomery and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Olga Montgomery, Hubert Hoffman; and brother Robbie Hoffman.

Funeral procession will form to lead us from Horan & McConaty Funeral Service to the gravesite at Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses Street, Golden, CO 80401; or you may immediately proceed to the Celebration of Life. All friends, family, and colleagues are welcome for food, drinks, and shared memories!

All City Floor Company will be closed on Friday, August 21, to allow our team to attend the funeral.
