Richard DeJean

Richard James DeJean was born on November 30th, 1958 to William and Lenora DeJean and was raised with his four siblings. He loved his brothers and sisters dearly, just as he loved their families that followed. Rich was a lifelong resident of Aurora, CO. Rich DeJean was surrounded by family, love, laughter and friends. There are so many stories that only Rich could have been a part of. He was larger than life and brought so much joy with his music and abundant personality. Rich fought his health battles with strength and determination. Sadly, he lost his battle on August 1st, 2025. Rich follows his father, William, his mother, Lenora and his brother, Steve into the gates of Heaven. Rich is survived by his siblings, Ron, Annette and Patricia, seven nieces and nephews, along with fourteen grand-nieces and nephews, his beloved son, Sean and his grandchildren, Lily and Oliver, whom he loved more than life itself. Rich leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness and truly his own outspoken views on life. We will miss you so much. Memories of you will never be forgotten. Of course, we would not be able to say goodbye without leaving a final message: GO BRONCOS!
