Richard Corpuz, age 63, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026.

Richard found joy in the simple things he loved most - sports, music, and time spent outdoors. He was an avid sports fan who always seemed to know the latest news and stats, and music was a constant companion in his life. His collection reflected a wide range of tastes, with a special love for Elton John, Stevie Nicks, and Billy Joel.

Richard also deeply enjoyed being outside, especially sitting in the sun. Whether it was a quiet moment alone or simply soaking in the warmth of the day, those moments brought him comfort and peace.

Above all, Richard will be remembered for his kindness. He had a gentle way about him and treated everyone he met with warmth and respect. That generosity of spirit was felt most deeply by those who knew and loved him and is still felt today. Richard will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Respects may be paid during his service at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation in Thornton, Colorado, on Tuesday, March 3, with visitation beginning at 10:00am and funeral following at 11:00am.

Richard is survived by his siblings: James Corpuz, Gloria Corpuz, Suzanne Hutchison, Steve Hutchison, and Dan Corpuz, as well as his many nieces and nephews: Lisa Loeffler, Michael Corpuz, Doug Corpuz, Jared Corpuz, Steve Corpuz, Lori Tarleton, Lana Swenson, Leia Corpuz Anderson, Loni Hanson, Laura Fetrow, Stacy Eaton, David Corpuz, Lindsey Johnson, Jason Pickett, Nick Hutchison, and Jennifer Corpuz.
