Rex is survived by his wife of 5o years Geri "Darlene Mari" Porter; children Colette (Mark) M. Nelson, Rex (Connie) C. Porter, Jr.; brother Dean Porter; also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Visitation is Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. until the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. at S. Parker Rd., Aurora, CO. Funeral Mass is Wednesday, June 21, 2006 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 13120 E. Kentucky Ave., Aurora. Interment follows at Fairmount Cemetery.
