Renate Knight

Renate Knight, age 80, of Thornton, CO was born in Regensburg, Germany on February 13, 1941 and passed away in her home surrounded by her family and friends on October 24, 2021.

She married Robert L. Knight on July 16, 1959 and they had 58 years together. She became a cosmetologist at the young age of 14 in Germany and after getting her U.S. Citizenship in 1969 continued her career here in the States well into her 60’s.

She is survived by her 3 children, Edward Knight, Angela Miller (Knight), Les Miller (son-in-law), Dianna Klug (Knight) of Thornton, CO, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was also known for being everybody’s Oma, “Wir lieben dich”.

A celebration on life will be held at a later date.
