Rebecca Archuleta Sais

Becky was born July 9, 1949, to George and Ramona Archuleta. She had 1 brother, George. All 3 preceded Becky in death. Becky married Manuel Sais Jr, on November 19, 1977, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Father Jose Lara officiated their marriage.

Becky attended Sacred Heart Elementary, Annunciation High School and graduated from North High School in 1967. She earned a degree in Business at Parks Business School and worked at Golden Bell Press. She then decided to attend UNC the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree for teaching. She was employed for Denver Public Schools and taught grades 3-6. She loved teaching and her students. She taught at Holm Elementary, Goldrich Elementary, and Brown Elementary. She became the Assistant Administrator at Greenlee Elementary. Becky's mother, Ramona became ill and She retired to manage her mother's illness. Her mother passed away in 2007. Even though Becky had Lupus, she never let it get her down, in fact, it inspired her to do more. So, she tutored students at Our Lady of Guadalupe school 3 days a week. She enjoyed the time with her students. She also worried about her nephew Michael — she loved him and prayed for him every day. He had Sais and Becky to lean on and help him in any way they could.

Becky loved her family very much she treated all of then our nieces and nephew like they were own kids especially her great niece Becca. She also enjoyed talking and socializing with her friends, especially at the "Oldies Dances"! Thank you to Pearl, Virginia, and blessed Marie for the fun planning we had preparing for our own dances. The Oldies Dance went on for 10 years. Also, she loved all her pets and Nanook and Pippa. Last but not least, she loved her husband Sais. He always took care of Becky until the day God took her by the hand. He knew she would be safe with Our Lord in Heaven.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, 2/21 at 10:00AM and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30AM both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1209 West 36th Ave, Denver, Colorado. Reception to follow at the church hall. Private family interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date.
