Raymond Bernard Rennemeyer, age 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2015 after celebrating his 65 wedding anniversary on December 28th together with his wife, Helen. Ray was the first-born of 4 children, to Joseph and Catherine (Weineke) Rennemeyer on November 18, 1922 in Howells, NE. Ray served in WWII, attended school in Omaha where he met Helen and were married. Ray worked in several sales positions and later worked for the Omaha Public Power District. During this time he studied, working evenings to learn more about the interior workings of antique clocks and then formed his own clock repair business. He always enjoyed fishing, bowling, and woodworking. In 1973, Ray and Helen moved to Littleton, CO where he continued clock repair and further study to become a Master Clock Maker, especially enjoying his work on grandfather clocks. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leonard, sister Rita, and grandson Scott. Survivors located in Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, Washington, Iowa, and California include his wife, Helen, brother Melvin and his wife, Laverne, son Maurice and his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter Marianne. Surviving grandchildren are Paul Rennemeyer, Karen Blessing and Kelley Tighe. Great grandchildren are Mark, Maelin, and Micah Rennemeyer, Kayla, Nathanael, and Benjamin Blessing. Nephews: Keith, Wayne, and Jay Rennemeyer; John, Paul, Joe, and Mark Herbert; Jim and Bob Kay; Gary Liekhus. Neices: Melissa Hampton, Kristin Walker, Kathleen Buntain, Nancy Herbert, Carmela Jacobsen, Renee Taylor, and Lori Semerad.
