Randy, 61, passed away at home on February 16, 2024. With an unwavering love and dedication to Family, Friends, baseball and Buffett, Randy was a larger-than-life presence who was greatly loved and will be missed beyond measure.
Randy was born in Geneva, Illinois to JoAnn and Walter Sherman and moved to Denver in 1981. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his son, Peter, and his daughter, Katie. He is also survived by his sister Sara (John), brother Scott, brother Bert (Karen), black lab Buddy, and countless other friends and family members who loved him so much.
He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his dedication to his favorite sports teams (Go Cubs, Broncos, Rockies, Zags, Frogs!), the joy he felt while he was on the golf course, and his self-proclaimed expertise with smoked meats. Most importantly, Randy would want to be remembered for how overwhelmingly proud he was of his two kids. He left this world too soon, but he will always be remembered for being the most loving father, husband, brother, and friend.
Thanks for all the laughter, love, and light, Randy. We’re all better people because we were loved by you.
