Rachelle Macias was born in Brighton, Colorado on September 3, 1936 to Della and Joe Arambula. On October 11, 1958 she married the love of her life Martin Macias. Together they built a beautiful life in Northglenn, Colorado full of faith, family and countless memories.
Devout Catholics, Rachelle and Martin were deeply involved in their faith and went throughout the neighborhood collecting funds to help build Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Rachelle kept busy working in various careers from food service at Sunny Acres, Furrs Cafeteria, General Cable, to retail later at Kmart where grandchildren loved to visit her. Her most special jobs were done right at home with creating beautiful drapes, keeping her children in line, and always having a delicious meal in the kitchen.
After marrying Martin, Rachelle became an avid football fun. Sunday football was spent with the shared love of the Denver Broncos, watching and listening to games all afternoon, happily ignoring anyone who would dare call or visit. Sundays became some of the family's favorite memories.
Rachelle was a compassionate, outgoing person, making friends no matter where she went. And did not shy away from her colorful language, language unsuitable for this obituary! Her humor and contagious smile always brightened up a room.
While she loved her children, she loved her grandchildren just a little more. She made sure her grandchildren got a ride to and from school, amazing oatmeal cookies, and always got a wave and blow kisses when they left. Rachelle dedicated herself to her family and loved when her house was filled with family chaos.
She is survived by daughters, Pam, Marcie Donaldson (Jon), and Linda; sons, Tim (Lisa), Roger (Mary), Pat (Lynn), and Mike; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Del Solano, Pat Arambula, Betty Zamora, and Cathy Arambula; her brothers, Deacon Louis Arambula and Joe Arambula,
She was loved and will be missed by sister-in-law JoAnn Mascarenas; brother-in-low Thom.
She was preceded death by husband Martin Macias; parents Della and Joe Arambula; siblings Ester Arambula, Mary Ann Arambula, Frank Arambula; beloved grandchildren, Timmy and Abby.
