Quianna Reigh Camire

Quianna Reigh Camire, “Pigeon”

Born in Layton, Utah, on January 17, 2006, Quianna Reigh Camire—known over the years as “Pigeon,” “Ace,” and “13”—earned her wings in the quiet hours of May 22, 2026. While the official cause remains unknown, pregnancy complications are suspected. In every season of her life, Quianna moved with promise, mischief, tenderness, and a fearless curiosity that drew people close and made the world feel brighter.

After a year in Tucumcari, New Mexico, where she served as an intern with the geology department at Mesalands Community College, Quianna had recently returned to Arvada brimming with plans. She dreamed of building a life around what she loved most: the earth and its hidden wonders. Her immediate goal was to launch an online shop offering geological treasures, with hopes of one day opening a rock store of her own—supplemented, of course, by the many side ventures she could imagine in a single afternoon.

Her path to those plans was shaped by a spirited childhood and a determined adolescence. Quianna attended Two Roads Charter School and McLain Community High School, and she poured a decade of her youth—1st through 11th grade—into Girl Scouts. That community gave her fellowship, creativity, healthy competition, and the freedom to explore the great outdoors. Above all, it nurtured what was already true about her: she loved people, and she loved to laugh—generously, contagiously, and never quietly.

Animals delighted her—especially birds. If you believe in spirit animals, hers surely had wings. She was light as a feather, seemed to float when she walked, and soared when she danced. Keen-eyed and endlessly chatty, every room felt alive with her in it. Quianna investigated everything—drawn to the next discovery before the last was fully done. She was a beautiful tornado: dazzling, uncontainable, and unforgettable.

Quianna is survived by her parents, James and Mary Camire of Arvada; four sisters and their families: Stefanie and Daniel Sax, with Braelyn and Avalyn of Arvada; Susanne and Michael Lynch, with Sionna, Kian, Fiori, Ronan, and Finnegan of Boulder; Cynthia Hamdan and Jason Beasley, Sarah Beasley and Thomas Reed of Seneca, SC, and Trevor and Robert of Westminster, SC; and Katherine Camire of Arvada; her grandmother, Linda Camire of Erie; the Blanco family of Syracuse, Indiana; many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends, especially Brandon Griffin and Vincent Gambini. She is also the birth mother of a daughter, now one year old and joyfully thriving with her adoptive family. Quianna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Camire, and her aunt, Cathleen Reams.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.
