We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother/grandmother/nana Priscilla Ruybal. Priscilla died at the age of 83 on Saturday April 8, 2023. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones, after a battle with breast cancer.
Priscilla was born on February 27, 1940 to Epifanio and Eliria Perea in Antonito, Colorado.
She was married 61 amazing years to William (Bill) S. Ruybal , and they had 3 children: Lydia, Paula, and Duane.
Priscilla is proceeded in death by her husband William, and son Duane, brothers Bobby and Stanley, sister Clenda and parents Epifanio and Eliria.
Priscilla is survived by her daughters Lydia and Paula (Angelo)Sandoval, eight grandchildren Angelo, Christopher, Phillip, Nikki, Marcus, Isaiah, Estevon and Gerard, along with her 18 great grandchildren.
Priscilla was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and nana. Her family meant the world to her and was her greatest joy. She found comfort and joy in cooking, sharing stories, and spending time with loved ones.
Priscilla was the second oldest of 10 children, including 6 brothers (Epifanio Jr., Robert (Bobby), James, Stanley, Billy, and Glen)and 3 sisters (Clenda, Lucy and Berna) all whom she loved very much and shared her life with.
A visitation/Rosary will be held on Sunday April 23,2023 at Horan & McConaty located at 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd in Lakewood. Viewing at 2pm with a Rosary following at 3pm.
Funeral will be Monday April 24,2023 at Notre Dame Church, located at 2190 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Mass will begin at 1pm.
