Pola Ortiz Garcia

Pola Ortiz Garcia, 89, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on June 25, 2019 at Arvada Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on April 10, 1930 in Uvalde, Texas, Pola was the daughter of Maclovio and Cruz Jimenez. Pola married Juan Garcia Sr. in Crystal City, Texas in 1955 and together they shared 59 loving years of marriage.

Pola was the co-owner of the family business known as Garcia Nursery and Landscaping; a business she shared with her husband, Juan Sr.

Pola enjoyed cooking and raising animals, however, most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pola was deeply dedicated to her husband and her family.

Pola is survived by her sibling, Ora Ramirez; children, Juan (LuAnn) Garcia Jr., Jeffrey Garcia and Patricia (Gary) Olson; grandchildren, Heather (Adrian) Martinez, Meghan (Chris) Ortiz, Malinda (Justin) Clapp, Jennifer Garcia, Michael (Ashley) Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Trianna Perry, Darren (Stephanie) Robey and Danielle Felice; great-grandchildren, Jude Martinez, Cassius Martinez, Brielle Ortiz, Kaylee Ortiz, Fox Clapp, Jaslene Garcia, Elijah Garcia, RJ Garcia, Parker Garcia, Anna Grace Robey, Gianna Felice and numerous relatives and special friends.

Pola is preceded in death by her parents, Maclovio and Cruz Jimenez; husband, Juan Sr.; 5 Brothers, and 3 Sisters.

A Memorial Service to honor Pola's life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Horan & McConaty Funeral Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003.
