PIERRE MARLOWE JACKSON was born on September 13, 1950 to Josie and Dr. Joe Marlowe in Detroit Michigan. Dr. Marlowe preceded him in death. His mother, Josie then married Herman Jackson who graciously adopted Pierre and his brother Richard and blessed the family with the birth of their sister Mary. Josie and Herman also preceded Pierre in death. Pierre graduated from Mackenzie High School (Detroit) and attended Michigan State University. In 1969 he met Alice Williams who later became his wife, Alice Jackson. From their union were born, their sons Brandon Marlowe Jackson and Brian Ivan Jackson. Their sons honored them with 11 beautiful grandchildren: Brandon Jr, Brandi, Brian Jr, Justin, Hunter, Derrick, Carter, Antoinette, Parker, Ciara and Nashawn. Although Pierre and Alice divorced in 1981 they stayed close and Alice moved to Aurora Colorado to join him two years after Pierre and his mother did. Alice was with Pierre when he peacefully transitioned to our heavenly Father at the Denver Hospice in Lowry. Pierre was always the one who could get you to laugh, whether it was with one of his corny jokes or that silly shift of his eyebrows. Pierre was a multi-skilled person who worked at Ford Motor Company, ran his own auto body repair shop in Detroit (Marson Auto body) and American Furniture Warehouse from where he retired. He loved his jazz, Mustangs and stereo component systems. He is survived by his sons Brandon and Brian, brother Richard, sister Mary, ex-wife and caregiver Alice, mother-in-law Helen Williams, 11 grandchildren, daughters-in-law Lakeisha and Temeka, and a wealth of family, friends, nieces, a nephew, cousins and Lola (the Dachshund who was his best prescription). Pierre touched our heart and tickled our funny bone. He will remain forever in our hearts, prayers and special thoughts.
