Phyllis "Judy" Prostrollo

We regretfully announce the passing of Phyllis "Judy" Prostrollo, 75, on April 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with pneumonia due to chemotherapy (for breast cancer). Judy departed peacefully and was surrounded by loved ones, including her grand dog.

Born on June 22, 1948, Judy touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and beautiful spirit. Despite the challenges of her illness, she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her.

Judy was an amazing blend of kindness, laughter, and compassion throughout her life. She had a special love for her grand dog, Jazz, and always wanted to spend time with him. Judy enjoyed walks in her neighborhood or at the gym. She lived with her daughter Sam for the past few years, and together, they loved going out to dinner and watching movies. Judy also spent a lot of time watching adorable animal videos and singing and dancing shows. She enjoyed pampering herself, whether getting her hair and nails done, buying make-up, or adorning herself with jewelry. Her child-like attitude, devoid of judgment, allowed her to embrace everyone with a loving heart. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends, neighbors, and family. Judy's legacy of love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Balente and Lupe Milan; her brothers, Jesse, John, Angel, Balente Jr., and Frank Milan; and her sisters, Nancy Guzman and Lily Lucero.

Judy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who survived her, including her daughters, Michelle Prostrollo (Rim Forest, CA) and Sandra "Sam" Prostrollo (Edgewater, CO), her sisters Mary Olmedo, Delores Quintana, Rosie Montoya, Maryana Marinace, Elizabeth Milan, Patricia Milan, Linda Milan, Christine Chevarria, Sally Sanchez, and Debi Romero, and brother James Milan. She had 31 first nieces and nephews from both sides of her family and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Judy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.

Funeral services to honor Judy's life will be held on May 31, 2024, at 10AM, Risen Christ Catholic Parish, 3060 S. Monaco Pkwy, Denver Colorado 80222. A celebration of Judy Prostrollo's life, a testament to her vibrant spirit, will follow at 6:00 PM at Church Ranch Event Center, 10200 Wadsworth Boulevard, Westminster, Colorado 80021.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Rescue Retrievers of Colorado (https://retrieverrescueofcolorado.com) in Judy Prostrollo's honor, a cause close to her heart.

May Judy rest in eternal peace, and may she be remembered for the love, light, and laughter that she brought into the lives of others.
