Phyllis Marie Holec

Phyllis Marie Holec, 87, passed away Wed. 4/15/2020 at Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Campus with Dementia and Pneumonia.  She was born in Wagner, SD to Charles and Louise Hollenbeck.  She married Ernie Holec in 1952 and they had 1 daughter, Cynthia.  They moved to Denver, CO in 1959 after Ernie's service in the Army.  Phyllis worked at multiple jobs, but she enjoyed being a Mortgage Loan Processer the best.  She loved dancing, traveling, and being a social butterfly - visiting friends/family.  She is survived by her Sister, Carol Mae Morrow of Wagner, SD, her daughter, Cindy (Scott) Winters of Lakewood, CO, 2 Granddaughters: Kristen (Matt) Beshany, and Stephanie (Troy) Johnson, both of Littleton, CO, as well as 2 Great-Granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews.  Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing/masks; the family will have a Memorial/Celebration of Life August 21st, 12:15 pm @ Ft. Logan National Cemetery, with a picnic following a Bear Creek Park (5 min. away).  Please RSVP if you plan to attend: cwinters55@hotmail.com by August 15th.  In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Easter Star Masonic Retirement Campus.
