Phillip Ray Houck , age 86, died at home on April 2, 2024.

Phil was born May 18, 1937 in Oklahoma  City to Eston Houck and Mildred Boswell.  His family moved to Arkansas when he was ten years old and he attended middle and high school in Alpena, Arkansas.  After graduation in 1955, Phil went to Chicago where he started an apprenticeship in the sheet metal trade.  He moved to Denver in 1957 and worked in the sheet metal trade over forty years until he retired in 1999.  

Phil served in the Army from 1960-1962 in Panama.   When he returned home, he married Carol Marble in 1962.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing and woodturning.

He is survived by his wife, Carol and their two children, Steve Houck and his wife Fe and  daughter Sandra Geiser and her husband Bill and their three children, Cassie, Cole and Rex.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at 1:30pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B.
