In Loving Memory of Philip Scott Lowery

Philip Scott Lowery, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 23, 2026 at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 13, 1958 in Denver to Philip and Erma Lowery, Scott lived a life marked by love, faith, strength, and devotion to his family. He was a man who loved deeply, gave generously, and never hesitated to be there for the people he cared about.

Scott was a distinguished Colorado attorney, entrepreneur, and business executive whose career spanned more than four decades in law, financial services, and business leadership. A graduate of the University of Denver with both a B.S.B.A. and a J.D., he founded the P. Scott Lowery Law Office, SquareTwo Financial, BriteStreet Energy Group, and Collect America Encore, while later becoming a partner and senior attorney at Rausch Sturm LLP. His professional life reflected a combination of legal expertise and entrepreneurial leadership.

Scott had a deep passion for bow hunting and flying airplanes. Always drawn to a challenge, he once flew himself from France to Denver, an adventure that reflected his independent spirit and love of aviation. Whether high above the clouds or deep in the mountains on a hunt, Scott cherished the beauty of God’s creation and found joy in every adventure.

Above all, Scott loved the Lord. His faith was the most important part of his life, and he found comfort and strength in God through every season. Though we grieve his absence, we find peace knowing that he is now in the presence of his Savior.

He leaves behind his wife (Texie) of 35 years, three daughters (Kiayn Conner, Cami McCullough and Makena Hogan), nine grandchildren, and a brother (Arthur “Todd”), who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His love, laughter, wisdom, and presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through the lives he touched.

We take comfort in knowing that this goodbye is not forever. As Scripture reminds us, “Absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” - 2 Corinthians 5:8

Scott has finished his earthly journey and is now home with Jesus.

Until we meet again, we love you, we miss you, and we will carry you with us always.
