Pauline Smith, 84, joined Jesus peacefully on March 21, 2016. Born to Bertha and Horace Wren-Potter of Hastings, England, she now also joins her first son Jonathan, her siblings Arthur, Douglas, Gerald, and Sheilagh, and grandson David. Pauline was a perpetually cheerful and resilient mother of 8, who sprinkled smiles and faith wherever she went. She will be remembered for passing on the torch of faith, thankfulness, strength, and generosity - and her sense of humor and mischievous grin also spread joy deep into family roots. Her resilience and strength was always offered up to help anyone in need, and she amazed many with her endurance, even working a full-time electronics job almost into her 80's. Pauline's lifelong vice and source of hope was reading her Bible daily, from beginning to end, year after year. Fueled by bottomless cups of tea and dark chocolate, she loved to paint and garden most of all. -She said for many years, ""At my funeral I don't want anyone wearing black - I will be going to heaven! I want you all to wear bright colors with lots of colorful flowers!"" So in spite of our own sorrow and grief we will be dressed for her occasion - imagining the party being thrown for her now. Pauline is survived by her children: Dvorah, Joann, Ruth, Raphael, Dinah, Rachael, and Cindy; grandchildren Sapphira, Nadia, Sara, Marie, Karl, Victoria, Joshua, James, Theresa, Sophia, Rebecca, Lawrence, and Jasmine; and great-grandchildren Eli, Landon, Lillianna, Jenson, Jillian, and Luna. Please join her family as they celebrate her life and faith-filled legacy - on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:30pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
