Paul Aloysius Gleason

Lifelong resident, Paul A. Gleason, age 98, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026, at his home in Denver, Colorado.

Paul was born on September 13, 1928, to the late Thomas and Anna (Henderson) Gleason. He attended St. Catherine of Siena Grade School and graduated from Regis High School in 1946.

Drafted in the Army, he was stationed in Munich, Germany, where he served as a demolition specialist. Discharged in 1953, Paul returned to Colorado where he graduated from the University of Denver after which he went to work at National Council of Compensation Insurance, remaining there until his retirement in 1993.

A member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Paul served as President of the local chapter of AARP. He enjoyed travel both in the United States and abroad, as well as spending time with family.

Paul is survived by 20 nieces and nephews and multiple grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Anna Gleason, and brothers James, John, Thomas, Leo, and Kevin.

Viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. at St Catherine of Siena Church, 4200 Federal Blvd. in Denver. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. After which, interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge.
