Paul Coates

Paul Charles Coates, age 64, died in his home on October 23rd, 2021.  He met the love of his life, Barb Slough Coates in 1976 attending Indiana University.  They married in 1979 and moved to Colorado.

In Colorado Paul was a fabulous father of 3 children, ran his business, enjoyed golf and beers with his friends, and enjoyed watching the Bears suck for over 40 great years. He is survived by his wife, Barb Coates; his mother, Joanne Coates; and 3 loving children: Casie (Brice Wozniak), Connor (Adam Yourtz), and Peter. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Coates.

Celebration of life will take place at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home (Centennial) on Saturday, October 30 at 1:30. In memory of Paul we are asking in lieu of flowers that we honor him with donations to either of his favorite charities: Tunnels to Towers Foundation or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
