Patrick James Forber

Pat, 69, passed away peacefully at Porter Hospice in Centennial, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his five sons: Patrick, Ryan, Gregory, Richard (Michelle), and William; and his sisters Kimberlee, and Susan Johnson. Pat moved to Colorado after serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. An avid skier, he made frequent trips to the mountains while working as a private CPA. He soon transitioned into real estate as the local market boomed, and he built a strong business that attracted clients who often became his lifelong friends. He was an active member of the Denver Southeast Rotary Club where he participated in helping strengthen his local community. He found a calling through inspiring his peers and confounding his doctors during his 15-year battle against Multiple Myeloma. He often gave speeches about his family, his love of music, and his personal challenges during his weekly Bob Ord Toastmasters' meetings. His love of golf was constant, and he played the game at courses all over the world. His smile, great sense of humor, and boisterous laugh will be missed by his family and friends. A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial.
