Patricia "Pat" Lundstrom Bjorndal

A.V. Patricia Lundstrom Bjorndal December 28, 1931 – December 16, 2025

Patricia “Pat” Lundstrom Bjorndal, born December 28, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Earnest and Marion Lundstrom, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Pat graduated from Rowland Hall, where she excelled in musical arts. Following high school, she worked as a flight attendant for Western Airlines, an experience she greatly enjoyed. On March 28, 1959, she married Fred Bjorndal.

Pat is survived by her children: Cris (Bill) of North Salt Lake, Utah, and Rory (Diane) of Scottsdale, Arizona; five grandchildren: Charity, Scott (Emily), Casey (Rylee), Kelsey (Nate), and Cody; and seven great-grandchildren: Cole, Faith, Ashton, Mikayla, Abby, Belle, and Briar. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Frank (Lynda) Bjorndal of Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bjorndal; and her brother- and sisters-in-law: Roy and Edel Burton of Oakland, California; Eve and Emerson Brinton of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Else and Hal Visick of Provo, Utah; and Audrey Bjorndal.

Pat was active in the Episcopal Church and found joy in serving others and participating in church life. She was a member of the Eastern Star and grew up in Job’s Daughters. Pat was also active in politics, having the opportunity to meet and serve many of Colorado’s representatives. She loved playing bridge and hosting parties and progressive dinners with Fred. She and Fred also loved to travel, enjoying time spent in Scandinavia, throughout Europe, and aboard many cruise ships.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the caring staff at Lakewood Reserve and Applewood House for their compassion and support.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.

In accordance with her wishes, a service will be held at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, 11202 W. Jewell Ave., Lakewood, Colorado. January 10, 2026 at 11:00 am
