Patricia, 83, passed away in her home on January 20, 2015 surrounded by those she loved the most, her husband and children. She was born on January 30, 1931 in Logan, West Virginia to William and Elizabeth Atkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Wallace ""Em"" Fluhr; her children: Cyndi (Joe) Nodich, Laura (Bob) Ennis, Shay (Jim) Holmes, Barb (Eric) Doremus, and Jim (Debbie) Fluhr all of Parker. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Alex, Elizabeth, Zach, Tyler, Brian, Connor, Mary, Nate, Dana, Grant, and Emily; one great-grandchild: Levi; and several nieces and nephews. Pat grew up in Logan. At the age of 18 she moved to Kentucky where she attended college. After one year, she moved to Louisville, KY to work for the FBI. While working in Louisville, she met her future husband, a civil engineering college student, and they were married on June 7, 1953. She was an Air Force military wife for 27 years where they were stationed in Alabama, Illinois, California, and Colorado. After Em retired from the Air Force Academy, he began working in the corporate world for another 33 years. They lived in Boston and Phoenix before returning to her beloved Colorado. Pat truly loved her Colorado mountains. She enjoyed skiing, hiking with her grandchildren, listening to John Denver, going to Vegas with her daughters, and being an avid Denver Broncos fan. Her life revolved around her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved large family gatherings in her home, and attending all of her grandchildren's events. We will miss her quirky sense of humor, feisty attitude towards life, and her unconditional love and unfailing support. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and she will be deeply missed. A private family celebration of her life will be held during the summer.
