Patricia Ann Erickson

Patricia Ann Erickson, known as Patty to her family and friends, passed away on September 29, 2026, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 90.

Born January 3, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Gus and Catherine Fitzgerald, Patty spent most of her life in Southern California before retiring to Littleton. She was married to Martin Erickson for 54 years, and together they raised three children, Mark, Susan, and Karen.

Patty’s life was devoted to family and filled with many chapters. After working as a legal secretary and becoming a stay-at-home mother, she returned to school to earn her degree and began a fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher, continuing until her retirement.

Patty loved life and especially loved being a grandmother. She treasured her four grandchildren, Colin, Claire, Lola, and Mia, and cherished time with family and friends. She enjoyed camping, skiing, cycling, quilting, reading, and spending time in nature. She also volunteered at Children’s Hospital and with the St. Frances Cabrini Quilters.

A loyal Notre Dame and Colorado Avalanche fan, Patty found joy in the simple things and in the people she loved. She will be deeply missed by her children and their spouses, Mark and Karen, Susan and Patrick, and Karen and Larry; her grandchildren, Colin, Claire, Lola, and Mia; her sister, Peggy; and her many extended family members and friends.

Patty will be remembered for her love of life, her devotion to family, and the warmth and joy she brought to those around her.
